Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to announce the upcoming workshop on Anesthesia Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Training, organized by the Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Management Council in Kuwait, and the Kuwait Board of Anesthesia, in collaboration with Saving Lives Academy. As the Chairperson of this esteemed event, I invite you to join us for a comprehensive educational experience that will enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of anesthesia POCUS.

POCUS has become an indispensable tool in the practice of anesthesia, providing real-time imaging capabilities that aid in prompt diagnoses, guide interventions, and improve patient safety. This workshop aims to equip anesthesiologists, residents, and other healthcare professionals with the necessary skills to effectively integrate POCUS into their daily practice.

Our faculty members, the Saving Lives Academy, who are renowned experts in the fields of anesthesia and POCUS, have designed a dynamic program that covers essential topics such as ultrasound physics, image acquisition and interpretation, and the application of POCUS in anesthesia. Through interactive lectures, hands-on training, and case-based discussions, participants will develop a solid foundation in POCUS principles and gain practical proficiency in various ultrasound-guided procedures.

I am excited about the opportunity to gather together and explore the immense potential of POCUS in anesthesia practice. Join us at the workshop and be part of a transformative educational experience that will shape the future of our profession.

Warm regards,

Dr. Fatemah Qasem BMSc MD MMEd
